   This is a pic of my yeller fella. He passed away a few years back and we are missing him so. I saw your pic and said I need to look for another as good looking as yours. They are such mild mannered and lovely pups.

   Marley! Actually the dog in my picture is of my dear departed Clementine, who passed away on August 18, 2007. I adopted a five year-old (approximately) from the Golden Retriver Rescue named Blondie this past spring. She's a real sweetie and did wonders to heal my aching heart.

   I know what you mean about pets being more important than some family members!
   
   How lovely you now have Blondie. My pets - Jacob and Joseph the ex-racing greyhounds, and Bo the cat are adorable, although they keep me on my toes sometimes!

   A family a few blocks away is involved with greyhound rescue. They have three and are fostering another. Just great dogs.

   yes, they are family (and in fact far more important that some family members, if you catch my drift. Clementine was the true mirror of my moods. Now I am the companion to Blondie, another Golden Retiever that I rescued this past spring and she's been great.
